I spent my career shaping stories for local communities and global brands. Newly retired from Silicon Valley as a strategic marketing maven, I’ve returned to my first love—writing stories about people reinventing themselves in the wake of Life's unexpected detours.
My current novel, set in post-WWII America's precarious optimism, follows a woman ahead of her time who must return to the past she thought fame allowed her to escape if she has any hope of securing her future—skywriting along the way. The story blends Hollywood’s golden age and rural Colorado's hardships with the enduring pull of wherever home may be.
My writing has appeared in Luna Station Literary Magazine, InFlight USA Magazine, The Daily Astorian, Park Ave Magazine, Virtual Teams (2nd edition, Lipnack/Stamps), and Beech 18: A Civil & Military History (Parmerter). I received a 2017 Golden Kite Award (Honorable Mention, Middle Grade Fiction) from the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI).
I’ve been described as a Southern belle in combat boots—charming and disarming. That’s just fine with me, as long as I’m always reading, forever hopeful, and never bored.
